The Pinball of the Dead is a pinball game released by SEGA for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. It is themed after The House of the Dead 2.
The game contains three tables, a "Challenge" mode based on the storyline of The House of the Dead 2, and a "Free Play" mode for playing any of the three tables. The bonuses on the tables involve such things as whacking zombies with the ball, collecting the letters of "House", and using the ball to defeat the bosses from The House of the Dead 2.
As with the rules of traditional pinball, the player has three balls (or lives, in House of the Dead tradition). The game continues until all balls are lost.
Like any other pinball game, the player has a limit of three lives, if the player loses all of his lives, it is Game Over, because the game is following the concept a ordinary Pinball game; there are no continues, because the aim of a Pinball game is to score the biggest, ergo, the player cannot continue if all three lives/balls are depleted.
